Why independent sample purchasing matters.

How the way a sample reaches the laboratory shapes what a result can mean.

The sample is the starting point

Every laboratory result is only as representative as the sample behind it. When a seller selects and submits the sample, there is no way for a buyer to know whether it reflects ordinary inventory.

What independent purchasing changes

When a third party buys a product through the seller's normal checkout, without advance notice, the seller cannot prepare a special sample. The product arrives the same way it would for any customer.

  • The buyer, not the seller, chooses the product.
  • The buyer, not the seller, chooses the timing.
  • The product goes from the ordinary order to the laboratory with a documented chain of custody.

What it still cannot do

Independent purchasing improves how representative a single sample is. It does not turn one result into a statement about every lot or every future order.

If the seller chooses the sample, the result describes what the seller chose to send.
